In order to ensure that the customer is fully satisfied, České teplo s.r.o. offers an elaborate education system to employees ensuring continual improvement of their qualifications. The system covers all areas of Company activities. Also, application of the latest knowledge and modern trends both in the field of energy management and in the field of facility management contributes to improving the quality of services provided to our customers.

Use of EU funding – Operational Programme Prague Adaptability (OPPA)


Part of the education system of the České teplo Company are, among other things, training focusing on professional and in some instances also on career growth of employees.

At the end of 2009, the Company České teplo s.r.o. acquired a subsidy from EU funds in the field of education, which it had applied for through the project application "Complex Educational System for the Employees of the Company České teplo s.r.o.". The approved subsidy amount will provide a budget for the project for two and a half years.

“Operation of Energy Equipment – Energy Management” August 2012

On 25 August 2012 another educational activity funded from EU funds within the framework of the Operational Programme Prague Adaptability (OPPA) was successfully concluded. Participants, mainly operational department managers and MaR specialists, concluded this course after submitting and having approved their final thesis.

“Soft Skills – Basic Training for Technical-Administrative Positions” – June 2012

Most of our employees working in technical-administrative positions successfully passed the course focusing on so called soft skills. After successfully completing the course, participants were given a certificate certifying that they had completed the course. Similarly to the above-mentioned course, this educational activity was also financially supported from EU funds within the framework of the Operational Programme Prague Adaptability (OPPA).

Successful completion of the manager academy – the “Financial Manager” course

On 9 March 2012, selected employees of our Company successfully completed a managerial course entitled “Financial Manager”. This educational activity was financially supported from EU funds within the framework of the Operational Programme Prague Adaptability (OPPA). Thanks to the successful defence of their final theses in front of a commission of experts, participants became “certified financial managers”.

10 Company employees working as middle managers completed their education in the field of soft skills by successfully defending their theses.

“Manager Academy Preparation – Energy Facility Management” – November 2010

10 employees from within the ranks of technical specialists and middle management completed their education in the field of energy facility management by defending their final theses.

“Manager Academy – Senior” – October 2010

9 Company employees from within the ranks of higher managers completed their education in the field of advanced soft skills by successfully defending their theses.
